1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Reprival ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Reprival regarding your use of the App.

2. Description of Service

Reprival is a competitive fitness application that provides:

• Push-up tracking with computer vision-powered form analysis
• Competitive features including leaderboards, rankings, and challenges
• Performance analytics including fitness scores, streaks, and progress tracking
• Social features allowing users to challenge friends and compete globally
• Apple Health integration to sync workouts from Apple Watch and other fitness apps
• Push notifications for challenge updates, rankings, and reminders

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Reprival. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the App.

By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

• You meet the age requirements
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Account Registration

4.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4.2 Username Policy

Your username must:

• Not impersonate others or be misleading
• Not contain offensive, inappropriate, or copyrighted content
• Be unique and not already in use
• Comply with our community guidelines

We reserve the right to reject or require changes to any username that violates these Terms.

5. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized third-party tools to manipulate workouts, scores, or rankings
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Upload false or misleading workout data
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or other users' accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App
• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate rankings or challenges
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated systems (bots) to interact with the App

5.2 Content Standards

When interacting with other users or creating content (usernames, profile information), you must:

• Be respectful and courteous
• Not post offensive, discriminatory, or hateful content
• Not violate others' intellectual property rights
• Not post private information about others

6. Fitness and Health Disclaimer

6.1 Medical Disclaimer

Reprival is a fitness tracking and competition app, NOT medical advice or a substitute for professional medical guidance.

6.2 Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Physical exercise carries inherent risks of injury
• You participate in workouts at your own risk
• We are not responsible for any injuries, health issues, or damages resulting from your use of the App
• You should stop exercising immediately if you feel pain, discomfort, or dizziness

6.3 Form Analysis Limitations

The Form Analysis feature provides general guidance but:

• Is not a substitute for professional coaching or training
• May not detect all form issues or prevent injuries
• Should be used as a supplementary tool, not sole guidance
• You remain solely responsible for your own safety and proper form

7. Apple Health Integration

7.1 HealthKit Data

If you enable Apple Health integration:

• You grant us permission to read workout data from your Health app
• We will only access data types you explicitly authorize
• You can revoke access at any time through iOS Settings
• We use this data only to calculate your fitness score and sync workouts

7.2 Health Data Accuracy

• We rely on data provided by Apple Health and third-party apps
• We cannot guarantee the accuracy of health data from external sources
• You are responsible for the accuracy of data synced to the App

8. Competition and Challenges

8.1 Fair Play

All users must:

• Submit legitimate workout data only
• Not manipulate or fabricate fitness scores
• Compete honestly and in good faith
• Accept challenge results as final

8.2 Leaderboards and Rankings

• Rankings are updated monthly and may change at any time
• We reserve the right to remove users from leaderboards for violations
• Past rankings and scores may be reset during monthly cycles
• Division placements are determined algorithmically and may be adjusted

8.3 Challenges

• Challenge results are based on fitness scores during the challenge period
• Once accepted, challenges cannot be cancelled
• We are not responsible for disputes between users regarding challenges
• We reserve the right to void challenges that violate these Terms

8.4 Privacy Settings

• You can control who can challenge you through privacy settings
• Opting out of "Find Opponents" removes you from discovery but users can still find you by username
• We cannot prevent users from searching for you by your exact username

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Our Rights

The App and all content, features, and functionality are owned by Reprival and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9.2 Your Rights

You retain ownership of any content you create (workout data, profile information). By using the App, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and process your data to provide the Service.

9.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant us the right to use them without compensation or attribution.

10. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

• We collect workout data, account information, and usage analytics
• We use Firebase for cloud storage and authentication
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties
• You can request deletion of your account and data at any time

11. Subscription and Payments

11.1 Free Features

Currently, all features of Reprival are free to use.

11.2 Future Paid Features

We may introduce premium features or subscriptions in the future. If we do:

• We will provide clear pricing and feature descriptions
• You will have the option to purchase or decline
• Payments will be processed through the Apple App Store
• Subscriptions will auto-renew unless cancelled before renewal
• Refunds will be handled according to Apple's refund policy

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting us.

12.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Cheating or manipulation of scores/rankings
• Repeated violations of community guidelines
• Any reason we deem necessary to protect the App or other users

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your access to the App will be revoked
• Your workout data and rankings may be deleted
• You will lose access to any challenges in progress
• Some anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes

13. Disclaimers

13.1 "AS IS" Basis

13.2 No Guarantee of Results

We do not guarantee:

• Specific fitness results or improvements
• Accuracy of form analysis or rep counting
• Availability of the App at all times
• Preservation of all user data indefinitely

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Reprival and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another user or third party
• Your workout activities or any injuries sustained

16. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do:

• We will update the "Last Updated" date
• We will notify you through the App or via email
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms
• If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the App

17. Dispute Resolution

17.1 Informal Resolution

If you have a dispute, please contact us first at reprivalapp@gmail.com to attempt to resolve it informally.

17.2 Arbitration Agreement

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if they qualify.

By agreeing to these Terms, you waive your right to a jury trial and class action lawsuits.

17.3 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

18. General Provisions

18.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Reprival.

18.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

18.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

18.4 Assignment

You may not transfer or assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to any affiliate or successor without restriction.

18.5 Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services (Apple Health, Firebase, etc.). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
